M6 shuts down my notebook

Hi!
I have Fuijitsu-Siemens Amilo D FH2 notebook, with M6 on board. During everyday use, when I work or surf the internet everything seems to be fine, but whenever I start a game ( any game, even those without 3D graphics) my M6 unit starts overheating. Few minutes later it shuts down my computer. I have to use the power switch to start it again. What's happening? I tried many different drivers and it's still the same. But what is important, at the begining ( when I bought it , I mean) I had no such problem. It started some time ago. I guess just when I installed Omega Driver 2.5.14. Can drivers couse a problem like this?
Help!!! I don't know what to do....

Most likely the fan is dead, laptops are designed to take a lot of heat to a point, I have an old laptop that has no fans and after a couple hours if you touch the bottom you will burn your finger, enginers design them to take as much heat as posible before the fan turns the main reason for that is beacuse fans are noisy and they eat up a lot of power, once the fan turns on the laptop has gone beyond its thermal limit and it needs to cool down if the fan is dead then the system will just shut down, normal surfing and office work will rarely get the system hot enough but gaming will definently get it hot enough for the fans to turn on.
