advice on card

I currently have an AIW Rage 128 16mb PCI card. I do not play computer games at all. I like to run S-video out to my TV to watch downloaded movies running in Real Player v10. My question is: Will any of the newer video cards give a better picture to my TV via S-video? The AIW Rage 128 makes the TV and the computer monitor 800x600 when you output to the TV.
And if the new video cards would look better, what about them makes the difference (chipset, memory, 128bit vs 64bit, etc.)?
