Radeon 7500 AR64DG

Hi, i'm new

I can't speed up my radeon 7500. It's Gigabyte's AR64DG. I've tried Range3D and GB's V-Tuner but there's no any difference, even when core and mem clocks are 330/260 and more!!!!.
Is it possible, both clocks are hardwarely locked?

I'm using BX133 with Cel900@1125, could it be a reason? Maybe graph performace is just slowing down by CPU or system memory speed?

sorry about my english

You might try the ATITool, available here:

http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=725

Or ChrisW's Radlinker, available here:

Maybe you'll see a result with these...

I've got 3500 points with 3DMark2001. I've found there should be something about 5200.
But... I have BX133 with Cel1100 and SDRAM mem and there was a test done with Athlon 1700 with DDR - is it a point?

By the way, there is AGP 2x with BX133 only, is it important?

With 330 core clock and 275 mem clock I'm getting graphs errors, so clocks are no locked I think. But there is still no any improvment, why?

Your score of 3500 is in the range for your processor and video card in 3DMark 2001 (with my system below I get around 3300 or so). The 5200 you are seeing is with a much more powerful processor and much better memory - that is the reason for the much higher score.

Your 330 GPU clock seems very high - be careful - the graphic distortions you are seeing is a warning...

You should see a difference of some sort in your games, maybe not though just in Windows.

Fraps is a good utility to use to check frame rates in games, here's a link...

http://www.fraps.com/download.htm

Be sure to select the correct version for your operating system...

that celeron is a large part fo what's holding you back, as well as SDRam instead of DDR, so thsoe scorea are abotu as good as you'll get

3500 is about right for your card and setup

i would sell that card for the $35-40 that it's worth and put it towards something like a radeon 9000 pro which is alot better than what you have now. 9000 pro's are selling at around $45-55 on ebay right now. 3500 seems awefully low for a 3dmark01 score

Of course, but I wonder is it any sense to get Radeon 8500 for ex. still with BX133 (cel1100 & AGPx2) when Radeon 7500 doesn't get maximum speed in fact.
