Forget every thing - ALL NEW COOLING!!

well people I think Artic cooling just came out with another great product which is currently availble in only a few countries around europe
and the thing is that they dont advertise it on thier site..

take a look at this: http://www.ichbinleise.de/product_in...oducts_id=1082

here is a link to an online store in Israel that sells the entier product line
the ones for ATI and NVIDIA...

https://www.zigzag2000.co.il/catalog...th=174_157_161

I know you might have problems with hebrew but most of it is in english.
so enjoy.

these coolers fit 9800Pro/XT/SE and the new X800Pro/XT.

I'll be glad to translate for you... but I dont think the site ships anywere out side of Israel...
its Like I can't buy from any other online store in europe or US ..they don't ship here...so I finly found something
that we have here that you don't have ... :-)

in any case the prices that apeare in Israel shekel NIS - should be devided up by about 4.52 to get the idea of
what the price is in USD...
the site shows 2 sets of coolers

Ati for 1 to 4 for all ATI cards.

and

NV silencer for all new 6800 and the rest of Nvidia cards..

see how Artic cooling moved from aluminium to Copper!! this should be almost as good as a water block i guess...he he

I would buy it if I didn't have VGA Silencer Rev 3... but seems like a waste for me since I'm not going to run my card higher then XT specs 24/7 so why waste a good silencer rev 3..

Old news.......New news......makes very little difference. We dont have them here in the US yet......they aren't listed on the main site yet..........so ANY news on this product is interesting.

Like for instance.....has anyone seen any temp numbers on this card yet? That is what I am interested in seeing.

my second reply here was to the admin team asking if they have seen any reviews..

but know Artic cooling VGA silencer Rev 3 . guess the temps are lower cause these products are made from copper and
they answer the problem of cooling the memory chips along with the core ..
so all out I think the results would be much better then rev 3.

if any one finds a review please post a link .... Thanks.

Just picked up the new ATI Silencer 4 (x800 cards).
I haven't installed it yet but it looks to be a better design than the previous models.
The base is copper and the heatsink covers the memory chips and has a plate which covers the memory chips on the back of the card.
The base of the copper heatsink also has a square patch that protrudes out slightly, this is the area that sits on top of the cards core, ensuring that it makes complete contact with the core (the previous model had a flat base and some people found that the shim surrounding their card's core left a minute gap between the base of the heatsink and the core)

Will check temperatures when it's installed.

dont forget to record the temps with stock cooler and then check the scores with your new cooler.
I would like to see how good it is comapared to the stock also.

Wouldn't suprise me. I've heard nothing but good things about the vga silencer. Most of them probably feel its easier to just purchase silencers instead of trying to design and manufacture their own. If anyone sees these new ati silencers available in the us, drop the url here plz.

why don't you all start sending E-mail's to Artic Cooling and make them ship it to the US.
I guess you can even ask DH admin team to help you. there request should carry alot more weight.

Yep, HIS make the x800Pro/XT "ICE Q 11" cards fitted with the VGA Silencer.
And Saphire make the "Toxic " x800 range also fitted with the VGA Silencer.
The cooler isn't modified at all, it's exactly the same as the one you can buy yourself, they just simply slap their own logo on them.

Hi fellow countryman. îä ðùîò âáø äëì èåá???

well it seems that he got the lowest range cooler of them all seeing as he was the first one in israel to buy this,
the version 4 comes with 2 plates designed to cool down the memory chips as well...

as for the Noise question I think Its about the same level since the fan is the same size and the same design.

I know from my verion 3 that its hardly noticble...a hell of a lot quieter then the stock cooler.
