How to boost your Doom3 performance by 40% on ATI hardware

i have one ? about the tweak that was available for d/l in the .rar format. I unzipped it to the Dooom3/base folder, and it added the glprogs folder with the interaction.vfp file in it. am i supposed to do anything else with this new folder and file? thanks for any info...

I just tried this tweak for the hell of it. I grabbed the RAR link from the Beyond 3D thread instead of manually editing the shader. I used to run the game on 800x600 High Quality with 2xaa/8xaf - my demo was in the 30s. I just ran this on 11x8 with the same settings and had a better demo result - in the 50s. All I can say is OMG! I can't wait until this tweak is made official in a patch.

did some benching woth the timedemo bench and with diff tweaking settings.
