ATI X800 Bios Editor
I'm looking to decrease my default core speed.
I modded an X800Pro to an XT but the core maxes out at about 505Mhz stable. Tried RaBit 1.3 WinFlash Radedit Biosedit no luck so far. either no go or too complex any suggestions? |

Maybe... PowerStrip or ATI Tool is my guess.

Mythical mate obviously he does not want to use software based overclockers as those are easy to come by.
he wasnts to dump his bios thats easy. but there is no program out there that will let you edit the defaul bios clocks then reflash that way you eliminate software based overclockers. i was in the past last week actualy looking for the same thing just does not exist yet. rabit v1.3 looks to be the bios editor that in future will support X800`s but at the minute thats a fat NO NO . |

Thanks Virus,
Thats kinda what I figured. But one can always hope right? Since the problem seems to be heat, maybe I'll just go buy a VGA silencer and see if she'll run at stocks speeds. ![]() Thanks for the replies guys. |
