will l change my g-card

hi guys,been gone awhile.had no phone for last few months.just it today.so have a lot of driver updates to catch up on,like omega.l have a ati 9800xt with 256 ram.was thinking about upgrading.will l notice a difference.worth my while.not planning to change motherboard till next year.what are your thoughts

it depends on the game you are playing. i mean 9800xt will last you for over an year but selling it next year will decrease the selling value. i mean you could selll this baby at like 290 or maybe less right now! but i am not sure. so

JUST KEEP IT! till you upgrade to pci-e!

lm still not made my mind up about up grading from ati 9800xt to x800xt.l have just moded my pc with a abit an7 m-board and added extra memory to 2 gigs and put it in new case fromantec with see through panel and now setting getting on net through satellite instead of dial-up.won't be changing m-board till early 2006,as every time you upgrade,its cost in more ways than one.so you see why lm considering getting x800xt.would cost me in ireland 580 to 620 euros,not a small amount of money for a g-card.so bottem line is there a big difference between 9800xt and x800xt.both cards have 256 memory.will l benfit.only use for games mostley.so some of you wise guys can advice me

Of course you'll benifet!!! By at least 40%!!! (usually 50%+) so if you got the money get it but I'm personnaly weating for the R520!!!

if yer changing mainboards and such next year, just wait till you do that as technology changes so damned fast now adays

not changing till 2006.have changed m-board and cpu all ready,that why considering changing g-card o x800x from 9800xt.might wait till card drops a little as it cost me between 580 and 620 euros.
