According to NewEgg the two cards are either a: 9550SE or FX5200.

Just use the NewEgg search function and enter a maximum amount of $60 and you'll see your choices. There are a lot of FX5200s!

Donator

I chose that one because it has a fan and supports DX9.

Ah ok, sorry. LOL Well I'd go for the Sapphire Radeon 9550SE over the FX5200. The lack of fan doesn't worry me too much because with a card like this I doubt you'll be doing intense gaming. The dual outputs is also a big plus. Great for making use of 2 monitors and doing some multitasking.

They're both DX9.0 and both have 64-Bit memory interfaces. To say you're at a great loss if you choose the wrong one would be an overstatement.

Update:

Good news, I didn't want to pull this review out at first (Didn't know which 9550 was being used), but the DH review which was done a month or two ago reviews the low-end of the spectrum. Check it out

According to the specs, they're the exact same card being reviewed. I'm sure your choice will be clear after the review

System Specs

definately go w/ the 9550, or get a nice 9000 pro if you can find one, my sapphire 9000 128MB 128b card was great.

Got ATI radeon 9550SE myself...

With an VGA silencer attached... And I am suprised at the OC possibilities... I can without any problems OC it to 430Mhz. (it runs at 250Mhz. GPU normally) and the RAM, without extra cooling, OC to 220... It gave me an increase at about 1000 Point. in 3Dmark 2001SE... I know it is not an ATI radeon X850XT, but its cheap, and i haven't encountered a game I could not play to satisfactory...

So my advice... Sapphire Radeon9550SE
