weird scrolling in dual monitor? or maybe flickering. I cant tell.
Okay I got a Radeon 9800SE@PRO and im running dual 15" CRT monitors(hey not everyone can afford LCDs)
So heres the problem: for some reason, when I have both monitors plugged in, there are these flickering...things...that scroll up the screen. If you sit back a few feet you totally cant notice them, but sometimes I have to lean in close to the screen for various projects and stuff(I try to avoid it) and it does this scrolling effect. These monitors arent exactly new(nor are they exactly old) and they are SONY so I figured "meh they are dying". Here is the weird part: when I take out one monitor, everything is fine and it stops scrolling. When I plug the monitor back in, they both start the weird effect. Now I noticed that when the two moniors refresh rates are asyncronous, that it gets REALLY bad flickering...when they are syncronous everything is gravy except for this problem. I dunno whats wrong. Anyone have any idea what the problem is?
