Just bought my new card!!

well after all my questions and searching, I finally bought my new graphics card...

its a Sapphire X800XT PE !!!

got it for 480 plus shipping, it has been used for about 2 weeks. But i trust it to be in perfect condition. I will be refunded if not.

Well i cant wait to get it, too bad my mom says i cant have it till christmas, aw well.

And just to be sure what color is the box supposed to be for the platinum version. He tells me the box says on the serial that its a PE version, the sticker on the side of the box. I know that newegg was selling a card not labeled as pe either, the box looks identical to the regulat xt but all the reviewers said that once put in the pc, it is recognized as the PE. Interesting.

Why not put your old VC in that new box. Put the new VC in the computer, it's not like they're going to know.

yah, just make up some excuse like "well i have to try it out, if it doesn't work we want to be able to return it and buy a new one in time for christmas" and then instead of putting the new one back in the box throw the old one in there.
