Regarding D3D games.
Hello again
:D3D=Direct 3D(just in case) Whenever i play D3D games on my PC(R9600PRO) or on my girls PC(FX5500 *i know it's not good but the 9550 i bought couldn't run on it ;() i have experience this lag between the mouse and the computer. E.G : i play an FPS D3D game, and i turn right, so i move my mouse to the right and it'll take like 0.5-1s before the computer responds and outputs the response to the monitor showing that i'm moving right IN the game... i don't experience this on desktop.. but just in games.... any help?... get's kinda irritating... the only way i was able to fix this was capping the FPS to 30fps if i am able to... I hope u guys understand what i'm trying to say... Regards, Saberj |

Which game in particular and which mouse? Check if you have mouse smoothing turned on, this can cause such behavior.

It could be mouse smoothing, but if you're getting low FPS, turn down the AA, AF, and texture details as well as turning off vertical sync.
AA = Anti-aliasing AF = Anisotropic Filtering

when i used nvidia they had an option of rendering ahead frames and that made major mouse lag for me, but that doesnt explain the radeon doing it

I don't know much about this, but could it possibly be due to the priority of your USB, or somehting to that effect. I am probably way off base here, but just something for you guys to kick around.
Incidently, I had this problem one time with my old microsoft mouse, after updating the chipset to my mobo, the problem went away, you might want to give that a shot. |

If you have any devices plugged into the USB ports other than your mouse, try unplugging them. If your mouse is PS/2, then I'm lost.
