Radeon 9700pro problem

Hi People, new to this forum so unsure if this is the correct place to post.

I have a problem with my radeon 9700 pro which is causing me much frustration. Basically the screen does not seem to refresh properly

e.g. Open up a few windows and it leaves what seem to be small broken lines on my display, right click refresh resolves this for a few mins but it keeps happening over and over again

I have recently formatted my machine and for a while was using the windows drivers for the card which were working ok then the problem started, so i installed the latest Radeon omega Drivers 2.6.05a (Catalyst 5.1) twice now but i still seem to get the same issues.

I have not overclocked the card or performed any softmods. was wondering i anyone had any ideas

Thank you in advance for any help

Regards

Hollow

System Specs

Donator
Run the directX diagnostic and see what it says, my card did this once and it turned out that the hardware acceleration was turned off.

Use Drivercleaner to get rid of all previous driver installs and then reinstall Omega or Official Cats...

Try using official Cats 5.2 or Omega 4.12 based set. What refresh rate are you using, and what monitor is it?
