radion moble trouble on battery

hi guys, my first post here...great forum.

I'm having trouble with my radeon 9600/9700 drivers on the 64 bit operating system...the native drivers work fine on 32, but on 64 were very slow...the modded 64 drivers from radeon and from techonnect worked when plugged in, but not on battery power.. on battery power, the display and mouse become unuseable

I've seen other users have this problem elsewhere, but I haven't seen a fix yet.

is this addressed on this forum?
