Have you tried other drivers? Namely official Catalysts?

Hey geminis boy welcme to DH, you can also try some of the "moded drivers" as well, just to see if you can overcome the problems.

Try clocking the core and ram down by about 10 MHz each, and see if that helps at all.

3 things to try:

1) Even though it's been suggested to turn FastWrites Off I would try turning them on. The default for the modded drivers is to turn FW Off, yet some systems, and even the 9600XT may work better with that setting On.

2) Disable VPU Recovery.

3) Uninstall SmartGART. This, for me, has been the most consistant solution to this very same problem (not always, but most times). You can grab ATIs SmartGART uninstaller from their site HERE. Just run the program, and it will uninstall SmartGART. You will notice that the setting still shows up in the ATI Control Panel, but this is normal. The actual SmartGART program will not be running, and in effect, not be filtering AGP calls to the card by the system/game. If you need to use SmartGART just reinstall the drivers again.

ok, i try all that things.
But, i install de 9600xt in two other computers, one with a Athlon XP2600 and MSI KT6 and the windows is hang and reboot all time. And the second is a MSI NForce2, in this board the graphics card run perfec, and the games run more faster. I ask, maybe the CELESTICA 9600XT GOLD EDITION have a problem with the chip VIA (KT400 and KT600). What do you think?

I'm currently running a Celestica 9600xt on a Via KT400a board without any problems.
