arrow Help! Crazy black sharp artifacts ... opengl related? (9800PRO)

I have this problem in DOOM3 and F.E.A.R. demo so far and its awful! I think FarCry had some too. Half Life 2 looks perfect without any artifacts whatsoever.
I have a 9800PRO that is not overclocked.
2800+ barton

Latest ATi drivers and control panel.

Is this a reccuring problem? Has it happened before or did it just start all of a sudden? If you run 3DMark, do you have any artifacts in there?

I dont have 3dmark, I'll get ahold of it and see.
I ran Drivercleaner Pro and reinstalled drivers.
PSU says 115/230v on it...
As for the temperature... I'm not too sure. How can I check?
This isnt only in this demo, but opengl games.

Thanks for the replies
