Problems with desktop resolution switching.

When in games some times i get a heavy lag spike and my deskstop switching to 960*720 resolutation. My normal res is 1280*960, have x800 xt, windows xp home, latest omega drives.

What monitor are you using, also are you using the monitor INF driver or a windows default P&P driver?

sony flatscreen, i will have to wait untill morning to find the modle number. Im using p&p drivers.
