TV on Component out?

Ive got a sony 27" which is a 4:3 set, im using ATi to drive the component video out, but my options are not to clear to me as how to run it
I know 480i and 1080i, and would love if this tv had progressive but it doesnt (next DLP TV will =D)
so either way how can i run it? I have it set to 47mhz interlaced and 642x3xx something
how can i get it to run as a 16:9 640x480 screen since i have a 16:9 compression

i dont think i want to run 16:9 because it wouldnt be extra lines, i need it to be anamorphic

Look at your TV manual and see what it supports. They usually say.
