SAPPHIRE-ATI-ABIT 9600xt 256 cards

hi everyone.

im looking to buy a new card to replace my sons sapphire 9600pro card and want to get a 9600xt 256 card or maybe a 9800pro.
there are a lot of different brands out there it can get very confusing, especially with brands like expertvision and powercolor to name a few that seem to detune thier cards to sell them at a lower cost.
i like the ABIT 9600xt 256 vivo model, seems to be on a par with ati and saphire in the reviews, and looks a nice card.
MY QUESTION, any thoughts on brands such as those listed below, the ati 9600xt one being sold on ebay is supposed to be an ATI BRANDED card, but take a look at the image of the ATI 9600xt from thier website, nothing like it.

Abit 9600XT VIO 256M is a great video card ... I was owner of one ... price/performance is good too.

I wouldn't buy one from Ebay seller myself. Too often they are used or refurbed.

I have a Sapphire 9600XT 128 MB on this rig. It seems to keep up pretty well as long as I don't try to crank the heck out of the graphics settings.

If I had the choice in your situation I would go for the 9800 PRO. It will stand the test of time a bit longer than the 9600XT.

I agree with "Yousaif" Ebay is dodgy.............I have read about so many people who buy GFX cards from there and they have been; overclocked to death, moded or abused. You have very liitle (if any) come back if the card is "not as advertised" shall we say!

I've owned both the Sapphire 9600XT and Sapphire 9800Pro.
Both of them are very capable cards. If you can spare it, defitnitly spring for the 9800Pro.
