nice tool

too bad the 2d/3d clock buttons dont work for my 1600s

my cards dont seem to scale at all with higher vpu clocks, so i suspect im only changing the 2d clocks and 3d clocks remain te same

the ATi Tool is not working with x1800 xt overclock , i dont know ho many of u have tried but i have a sapphire and the only way i could overlock it was with this tool 'zardon' posted here , but it would be nice to get a feature on it where it saves the clocks after a reboot !

--- i see someone here scored a 10000+ score on 3dmark05 with the x1800xt , i got my highest 9807 with clcoks 755/855 ................. just wanted to ask what are your PC specs , thx !!

it works with the 1600s as well!
my bad, its jus that upping the core clock of my 1600pro resulted in a close to zero performence boost

I got 9500 dead on in 3dmark. I seem to not be able to get over 4GHZ on my Pentium D even with the temps low.

seems to work on the x1900's. thanks.

edit: well it sort of works. Sometimes after a while it returns back to default and you have to uninstall the drivers and reinstall to get it back right again.

Well I have tried everything to get this tool working correctly with my X1800XT

It will overclock the mem just fine but does not work on the core.

Yes I am typing the clocks in and not using the slider.

What happens is when I type in a core clock and hit set it will set it lower than the stock core clock!

Any info? Ati hotkey and ati smart services are disabled like those have suggested.

This does not work on my pc. I tried it with overdrive and I upped it with this programme and it does nothing for my benchmarks.

Everyones computer and x1800 v-card is different. What could work for me could not work for you. It is best to find your own clocks then someones elses. Just letting you know, you could run into problems.

Didn't read through this whole thread (any of it really) but thought I'd share a link to a X1800XL Overclocking review / how to.

It's pretty good and I was able to get my speeds up to what they had in the article 624 / 700 (stock being 500 / 495 ) but it wasn't to stable in games so I'm back to stock speeds. I had no visual errors on the desktop but I think it was just overheating after a while in games. A nice cooler would stop that. (Accelero X2)

I have a x1300 and i cant seem to change the voltage with overclocker or with ati tool. i disabled ati smart and hot keys but it still wont let me.

any suggestions?

Well I bought an Accelero X2 to replace the stock cooler on my X1800XL

my temps with the stock cooler were about 42c idle 53c full load no overclock

my temps with the Accelero X2 are 38c idle and 42c full load.. that is no overclock and about an hours worth of Oblivion.

I also put AS3 on the core of my X1800XL.

I haven't OC'd the card yet with the new cooler.

EDIT: Update

OC'd to the stats in my sig..

at the moment i am at 41c idle and at load after closing out of oblivion i was at 49c

jeez I`m lucky to get 10 minutes of it at a time, just keeps crashing to desktop.
i remember morrowind did the same but not anywhere near as bad.

What a great little application , work on it and it will be perfect for me and others !!

X1800XT

1. It seriously needs a save setting it does get annoying having to reset it every time manually
i would like a load profile or something!

2. It sometimes causes my monitor to shut off if i hit manual fan control, doesnt always do it
but sometimes i have to reboot the system to get the monitor back on.

3. The volts when i set 1.432 are applied as they should BUT when the graphics card comes back into 2D mode from 3D mode, the volts reset through the clocker so i have to manually set the volts again.

Is this software going to be updated anymore?

is this normal...

i cant see the temps anymore after replacing stock heat sink witt a zalman 900. aka i cant see the temps anymore and wen i try OC'ing the memory even in overdrive

... it freezes and then i gotta do a hard boot...
