My new gfx card

i just got my new card and finaly my machine is complete - i was thinking of getting more RAM but for now with this card i am happy!

I just purchased a rather attractive -=[Connect3D ATI Radeon X800 XT 256MB]=-

I'm running it with an AMD64 3700 not O/C with dual channel 2x OCZ 512 DDR400 and i havent overclocked my GFX card either.

These are the scores i get from game video tests (i dont have any bench marking progs)

Counter Strike Source video test @ 1024*768
100% Max settings - 129 FPS
100% Low settings - 180 FPS

FEAR video test @ 1024*768
both settings on MAX -

Min - 20
Avg - 35
Max - 87
both settings on LOW -
Min - 123
Avg - 243
Max - 467

Dont really know why i'm posting this - im just happy with my Rig and wanted to share that with you

sorry for wrong section - didnt even know this place existed :P

£230 from overclockers.co.uk

I was going to get there X800XL with the IceQ cooling system for £205 but after my order they had stock issues so i changed it to the XT

I dont know whether to OC or not, i dont want to change the cooler, so dont know if theres much point.

Theres a point. If it OC's well on stock then consider yourself lucky.

But eventually you'll wanna replace it

just got me the 850 and I am totally pleased, though my son got a 7800 gtx he enjoys using my card to play games on my machine...
I think it is the experience that matters the most really, although benchmarks are important too..
