? Hack-a-Radeon X800GT ?

Hey, been looking at these awesome deals ATI has been putting out on the newer cards and noting that the 'PCIe' cant be Hacked to get all 16 pipes. Its got me wondering if the 'AGP' versions can be hacked too.

So what you think? Anyone got a running AGP X800GT/GTO yet?

www.newegg.com

(Dont want to update my rig yet, so stuck with AGP till I do)

One way to find out.

Try flashing and see if it works.

Usually GTO2 cards and GTO cards from Connect3D can be unlocked, afaik. So your best bet, if you want to unlock pipelines, is to go with one of these

blarg, to bad. But I too havent yet found a success. Would be nice for someone to figure it out. These cards come with a nice OC on them already. Just adding the extra Pipes would make the awesome!

I think the GT was designed as an 8 pipe card....because they had to do something with the initial yield of not working X800XTPE cores didn't they?

I guess some of u here got an x800GT card?

I bought one recently and got some problems with the drivers. Well the card works fine and so but I cant get the AGP speed to 8x or 4x

So I hope some off you maybe got any nice suggestion on which driver is best for x800GT cards?
Maybe the problem lies in my motherboard (ASUS P4P800)?

Well time to go back to work

thx

That's right, if you want to flash a card, this one is your best bet (make sure it's the gto2), followed by the connect3d gto. The gto2 also oc's very well most of the time; many people are getting to at least xt speeds, some to xtpe and higher.
