Another Corrupted Graphics Thread

Hello. I have an ATI RADEON 9600XT with Radeon Omega Drivers v2.6.83.
When I use normal windows stuff, like office or Spider Solitaire or when I navigate the internet, or play movies, I had no problems at all. But when I try to play any modern (3D) games (ie: GTA San Andreas, Pro Evolution Soccer 5, Pontifex II ), the graphics instantaneally corrupts, and also corrupts the desktops graphics. The computer doesn't crashi, I can still use it, but all seems pretty screwed up, so I need to restart to get back to normality. Here's a picture:

I think I had no problems playing this games with the Omega Drivers v2.6.61, but I'm not sure (I install and uninstal so many times so many versions that I'm not sure of anything). Any clues? Thank you for your time, sorry about my english.

Looks like your memory chips are overheating.

Have you dusted out your case recently?

Try opening up the case and blowing out all the dust then leaving the side panel off and see if that helps it at all

Definitely does appear to be memory artifacting. As well as cleaning the card thoroughly like hex suggested, try different drivers, and try underclocking the card (core and especially memory) to see if that helps. If you can, try the card in another pc.

Thank you for your answes. I'd never overclocked the card. This means that the card is damaged? or this is normal stuff? I ask because the card still is in guarantee, so I could change it. Thank you again

Try DCP in safe made after uninstalling Omega's and install stock ATI cats to test. I have had this problem with Omega's a few times in the past with my old 9700pro. It was rare but it did happen and it was not due to heat- only happened with certain Omega drivers, but I cannot remember which ones exactly, it was a long time ago.
