I wouldn't know too well but the way I'd do it is find a laptop with each of those graphics chipsets in it and try and compare it with other ones. WIth laptops its basically not just individual parts vs. other parts but the whole package vs. other packages.

To be honest both of those are overkill for University in almost everything. The only reason to get one is the big display which is nice... but other than that...you don't need a powerful proc to run MS Word or print documents or research things on the internet. If you want to play games but your primary purpose is Univerisity don't loose sight of that and make sure you get something thats good for a university student... i.e. quiet, low cost, long battery life, and doesn't do more than you absolutely need it to do. Hell even for PC programming classes those would be overkill... the only reason to get one is for games/DVD watching etc. However if cash isn't a problem (lucky) and you don't care, this is my opinion on the two: M6Va - WEll westablished platform (Centrino), Intel M's do kick ass (coming from an AMD fan) A6Km - not a bad laptop at all, AMd64 proc (haven't seen much on them) and a new GFx solution. With your purposes in mind I'd probly take the M6Va. Just my opinion though absolutely nothing wrong with either of them |

Hi,
Thx for your fast reply. Yes Im programming a lot and coding some stuff with Java so I need a kinda "good pc" .. I know these 2 are kinda overkill for this type of work, but oh well. The Point is that I dont want to screw the possibility to play games.. I would bite my ass if I would try it on one of them and wont be able to do it .. But well .. The M6Va was my favourite too
