Means you need a PCI-Express slot and you need a 350-watt power supply

Hi,
I purchased a radeon x850xt sometime in August. I have a gaming rig at home , here are the specs. mainboard abit fatality, 1gig of ram, 160 gig hard drive, x850xt,so its not a weakling. However im experiencing serious graphics corruption even with games that are not that demanding. The corruption happens on 3d objects and presents itself like a line, or a strectched texture( resembling a stick) coming out of an objects extremities ( usually the head or hand) and this line strectches usually from the object to the top left corner of the screen. Its difficult to describe. tried installing the latest drivers from the ati webiste. I downloaded the latest direct x , but this has not resolved the issue. The games that are affeted:Prince of persia: the one that came originally with the radeon, prince of persia - warrior within, vampire bloodlines, far Cry , Black and White 2 , Battle for middle earth,Sid Meirs Pirates . I honestly dont know what to do as I have checked all possibilities from my end. |

@J3d-dogg: Power supply. Try buying a new one at least 500W or so.
@Pham: It means you need the 6 pin +12v power supply lead from your PSU to your video card. If you don't have one and you don't have a name brand 450 - 500W power supply already, you may want a new one. However if you have a good PSU but no PCI-E pin, you can always get adapters. Molex to 6 pin PCI-E |
