Graphic Anomalies, X800 GTO2 GRAHIC CARD

Part of my new build [my first] is a Sapphire X800 GTO2 GRAHIC CARD, for some reason I am getting small red dots, ghosting as some look like letters. The card has not been overclocked.

I am also experiencing tearing in World of Warcraft and Call of Duty, which I am sure it didn't do at first.

If i unistall the drivers the red dots vanish

on a note, htis issue started after i ran TRIXX Sapphire software, it was seeing how far the memory blah blah, when it crashed.

What is your PSU like?

But red dots looks like a bad card to me.

The tearing could be because its going faster than your monitor can refresh (if you own a CRT) and you don't have Vsync on...PC's are a hell of alot more powerful than Mac's

If your PSU is ok and such (at least a 500W name brander depending on how much hardware you have) then I'd RMA the card

Well then you've eliminated both possibilities there. Should that not fix it, you might try to run memtest or Super PI to make sure the memory and CPU are running OK

Trixx is Sapphire's overclocking utility, if you ran it, then you overclocked your card, and your first quote is null and void.

Yeah it looks like you've fried something on the card with TRIXX.

Probably the memory.

Will TRIXX let you underclock the card? See if that lessens the red dot crap and then you've found your culprit.

Trixx only got as far as testing how far the card could be pushed, I believe the message said.
