Place your killer apps here!

What mac apps do you find the best?!

I gotta say that Quicksilver makes OSX into quite a godly OS. Everything is at your fingertips quickly and you dont have to use Spotlight (blech) or Finder (Double blech with a bit of vomit on top) to get where you're going. I love app launchers in general, but Quicksilver really takes the cake.

Beyond that, Handbreak is a competent and easy to use DVD ripper. I suggest that to anyone who wants a fast reasonable quality rip with a small file size.

And finally, I would like to suggest WriteRoom because of how wonderful it is, but now that its costing money and having nagging messages on it, I really can't reccomend it. It is beautiful though. At first you may not see a use for it, but if you get distracted easily, something about blacking out the whole screen and having green on black just helps you focus extremely well. I find it most useful for big papers that are due soon.

what apps do you use?

System Specs

Boot Camp, and what it works with...

Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Really though, it opens up both worlds.

Synergy Although I have never used it as i dont have both a PC and a Mac, but it looks like the greatest program ever.... It allows for dual screening with a mac and a pc with one mouse and a keyboard and no switch :|read more here Dual Screen a Mac & PC
Also Crossover. Allows Intel macs to run Windows Apps without a virtual windows installed/running. I've seen Half Life 2 running on it, and it was quite impressive how well it ran.

Pssst - I hate the chime sound being really loud, so this is a must.
Camino - FireFox is nice, but Camino is faster on the Mac, doesn't use as much memory, and is Mac-native so it matches well with the Aqua interface.
NicePlayer - QuickTime player blows beyond all comprehension, but using the NicePlayer frontend to it makes it a much nicer experience with full-screen mode via double click on the video and expandable windows via scroll.
VLC - Beautiful multi-platform video player with its own codecs. If i can't play a video with NicePlayer/QT with the Perian (codec) component, then VLC is there to save the day.
Toast Titanium 8 - Awesome burning program for Mac. Much better than the Easy CD/DVD Creator crap by Roxio on PC.
Adium X - Wondeful multi-chat program.
AppZapper - Much better way to uninstall many of the Mac programs. This finds and deletes all of the pref files, etc, that you may not want anymore when you delete a program.
Azureus - Though I hate this client due to its utter slowness since its on Java, it's the best torrent client Mac has right now (given that many others are banned from various torrent trackers).
BetterZip - StuffIt/Deluxe sucks. BetterZip actually lets you view the contents of the archive before having to extract them, along with being able to choose what to extract, etc. It's basically like WinRAR for Mac. A must have program.
DVD2oneX2 - Pretty good DVD shrinking program, much like DVDShrink with not as many features.
MacTheRipper - Another good DVD ripping program, development is being put into this project to fish out Sony copy protections, so its a nice tool to have around.
iDefrag - Yes, the HFS+ filesystem gets fragmented too, which is where this handy program comes into play.
iGetter - Like FlashGet and multiple other multi-part download managers. Really handy.
XSlimmer - This neat program deletes the unnecessary architecture from your UB apps as well as unnecessary languages if you choose.
Little Snitch - I don't like programs connecting to the internet unless I say so, so this is nice for the securtiy freak.
NuFile - Allows you to create new text files, ppt files, etc, through the contextual menu. Something Windows had stock but OS X didn't.
Visage - This lets you change a lot of options including backgrounds and messages upon computer startup and login, Desktop settings, etc.
SharePoints - We all know sharing files in OS X is a pain compared to Windows. That's where this program comes in. It makes the process much easier with a nice GUI.

If I think of any others, I'll post em up here.
