Could 1 of you guys please tell me how to change the general password on my Mac {what come up when boot the machine}....Thanks.

Do you know the current password? If so you can do it under accounts in system preferences.
Otherwise you'll either need to go into single-user mode or boot to the install discs to reset the password.
