Despite security concerns and Microsoft pundits like Paul Thurrott wondering "who would ever use" it, Safari 3 Beta for Windows was downloaded over 1 million times in the first 48 hours, Apple announced. The company continues to tout the speed and standards support of its browser, which was previously Mac-only.

I installed it today and I absolutely hate the interface. The brushed metal look is crap. (Especially in Vista)

I can't see any reason to give up Firefox 2.x for this browser.

Being one that hasn't even touched it, let alone been to the site that has it available for download.... I have only seen posts with quite a few complaints..

To top it off, in a previous thread where someone had already ran benchmarks and made an opinion about it, i had made it quite clear that someone shouldn't judge the product based on BETA releases.
