have a confession to make: I've never owned an iPod. I have nothing against them, and every time I've used a friend's iPod or taken a spin with the latest model in an Apple store I've always been impressed with the product. I don't have to tell you how great iPods are. You probably have one. Everyone has one. I can't walk down the street without seeing dozens of little white ear buds on display as people make it clear they shouldn't have to listen to the sound of cars. iPods are ubiquitous these days, and that drives me crazy.
