Mediafour Macdrive: anyone else used it?
Product Page
third party app for windows that allows it to read HFS and HFS+ partitioned drives, seems to work fairly transparently, with only a small icon of an apple on mac partitioned drives in explorer to show it's actually there pretty useful for those using bootcamp, or going between mac and pc machiens using external drives, but it's a fairly steep price for what it does imo I got a free copy of mac drive 6 locked into my pro tools setup, seems to work just fine, i'm just after opinions from those who have used this app.

I've used this program as well. Works really well overall. It does its job.
Can't say much more than that.

you're right, there's not really much that can be said about how it works - though it will lock the drives to read-only if the mac partition wasn't shut down correctly
