KVM over IP!
If you are looking for a KVM, are short on cash (as in less then $0), and have the computers connected by lan I have the program for you! Check out Synergy, preaty sweet for a FREE software based KVM.
It is helping keep my old pc up and running with out cluttering my desktop with another mouse and keyboard.
