Looking for a text reader/editor that can open very large files

I want to open very large txt and cvs files. They can be over 1 GByte (up to around 2 GByte) with over 40 millions of lines. I'm looking for a freeware program tha can do this. I only need to be able to look at all the content of the files. I have 2 GByte of RAM.
