logitech iTouch v 2.22 won't work

I had this problem before, not even logitech could answer it. its really stupid. basically iTouch will not install sometimes for me I don't know what holds it back. last time I had to reformat just to get it to work. I need lots of the keys like the go button on my keyboard and the audio shortcuts.

take a look at this thread... no solution yet

wolfran is on a distinguished road

Hey, I had the same problem too.
I believe the problems came from one of the updates from MS.
My solution was to use an older version of the itouch software. I think I use version 1.8 something (I can check it later, once i get home, if you need it).
Only that version allows me to install the itouch. Others gave me the same error.

UPDATE: it's version 2.15.264
