Problem sharing music n video with 360

Ok my 360 is hooked up to a nice stereo system and i wanted to stream music from my comp to it. I have Windows XP SP2 so I downloaded the Windows Media Connect program from microsoft and it's only recognizing like 1 out of 100+ music files I have, and yes I have the folders with music in them selected in the Media Connect program. I have no idea what to do please help. Thnx

Checkout THIS page. Specifically, sections 5.1, and 5.2.

One thing about streaming using WMC is that it may or may not play files that have no information in their headers. By this I mean that even though an MP3 can have a name, like driverheaven.mp3, if it doesn't have an embedded header for the player to read the track info from, then it may or may not play, however, if you have quite a few songs that have no information in their headers the player will sometimes only show 1 out of all of them (cuz you can't have hundreds of songs in a playlist with no name.. so, it's one, or none).

Edit: also of note, there are 3 versions of Windows Media Connect. Make sure you've downloaded, and installed the correct one by going through the steps to download it HERE. I'll let you know if I find anything else.
