need a new burning software suite, nero sucks

Nero has been bug ridden ever since 7, cds dont burn properly anymore and high cpu usage and a crappy interface. It pretty much has done what roxio did to easy cd creator back in the day. Well now I need a good burning suite that will let me burn isos, create cds with crossfading and good integration into windows. Free or pay, I don't care. As long as it doesnt mess up my discs and have so much bloatware.

Now you know why I still use Nero 6 (6.6.0.18 in fact). Nero 7 and 8 are POS system hogs.

On my main rig I use Nero 6 along with Imgburn. Only problem with Imgburn is that it doesn't seem to work properly with SATA burners, which is the only reason why I can't use it on my other rig.

Anyways, early this month a thread got started on burning software right HERE. So, rather than go through a bunch of alternatives you might want to check that thread out instead.

Try here: Ashampoo® Burning Studio 7 (v7.21, 11/28/2007) - Now with Video, Bootable Discs and MP3 Ripping.

Ashampoo is light and works well. Many times you can get a good deal too.
