Ok, my creative player that came with my sound card has lost several features since I moved to vista and I can't seem to find my install cd so I decided to go back to media player. There was a loss in quality when I switched players, but then I found this little plugin called DFX 8 and decided to give it a try, well after paying the $20 and upgrading to the full version it just seemed to not work anymore and their tech support hasn't responded for quite some time. I dunno if any of you have any experience with this plugin, but according to the FAQ on the support site for the plugin it says that if it's not making a difference it means the song is not compatible with the processing method this plugin uses. Well I find that kinda hard to be true of every song in my library. Any help is much appreciated. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the plugin countless times, using ccleaner to clean my registry inbetween each uninstall/install.
