Opinion - Decent AV software for SBS Server 2003 with ISA Server 2004

As the title suggests I'm looking for a decent AV software for an SBS 2003 Server running ISA Server 2004.

Here's the problems I've been running into so far. NOD32 3.0 Business Edition is the only one they offer that will run on servers, and while it works great it totally blows when run on a server with ISA 2004 on it. Why? Thanks to it's web filtering it causes a proxy loop that cannot be resolved. Even turning it off doesn't help. Restart the server, and it will work as it should, but after a while it will crap out again. I can, thankfully, still run this and the Home Edition behind the ISA server, and it will update fine as long as I add *.eset.com to the exempt list. NOD32 2.7 works perfectly (as long as I do the proper folder exclusions), but that AV is too old. Symantec Corporate 10 just can't cut it anymore, and Enterprise 11 is such a piece of bloated s**t I don't want to even think about trying it. Trend 3.0 sucks. McAfee.. HAHAHHA! <Ahem> Sorry about that.

So, at the moment my choices are getting pretty thin. All that's really left is CA Anti-Virus r8.1, aVast! 4 SBS Edition (the only one that will run on SBS, hence the special edition), or the ever popular F-Prot with their Antivirus for Exchange v.2.0.0 (cuz it's the only one that will run on SBS, which sucks, cuz I'm not running Exchange on the damn thing). The latter 2, btw, will cost about $1000 for 3 year licenses for 10 users. CA AV? $720. Cheaper, yes, but I still would prefer F-Prot. The client doesn't give a s**t what it is as long as it's cheap.

Here's the key question: I only want to run this on the server itself. I will be running NOD32 3.0 on the workstations. Do any of these actually tie itself to the user licenses on the SBS Server? So, if I have 10 user license on SBS Server, but buy the 5 user version of whatever, or single version, will it complain, or can I get away with it like I can with Symantec Corporate, or NOD32 2.7?

Any suggestions are much appreciated.

Re: Opinion - Decent AV software for SBS Server 2003 with ISA Server 2004

Nobody?

Don't worry if you guys don't have specific SBS Server 2003 with ISA 2004 experience. I'll take opinions/advice from anyone running a Windows server that has an AV package installed. My main concern is what you guys needed to do in order to get whatever AV package you guys have installed to work on your servers so that they didn't interfere with the system.

So, to all of you guys running any sort of Windows server, please let me know what AV packages you are running, as well as what exclusions you guys are running. Every little thing helps.
