problem with omega driver's and resolution

hello, having a bit of a problem which I was unable to rectify through use of the search function. just got done installing the omega drivers for my radeon 9700 pro on windows xp pro w/ sp1. now, whenever i restar the computer, it always restarts back in 640x480x16 mode, whereas i'm normally trying to run windows in 800x600x32. Anyone have any suggestions or methodology for fixing the problem, ie. switching drivers around, etc. and so forth?

my default monitor has the same setting, but my plug and play monitor is the correct setting, check it out in display settings...okey dokey?

Thank you very much for the warm welcome =)

Checking my display settings, I only have the one monitor, so naturally its set to default. I'll go ahead and upon restart, once it resets itself into 640x480 again, i'll go in and adjust the slider to 800x600, and make sure its on 32 bit color. But sure enough, soon as I restart, boom, back to 640x480.

To bad about the Omega guy. He had to drop his work because nVidia or ATI (can't remember which) threatened to sue him for making changes in their drivers. His page is down now isn't it?
