Perfectdisk vs Diskeeper vs Norton Utilities

Hi, i looking for more chose before to decide.
I need to boost fast from startup.

1)compare my 2 laptop using same vista, same model laptop @ 2.0 GHZ
booth time for Laptop A = about 3min to complete.
booth time for Laptop B = 12 min to complete.1

however load software is different, A is slower

loading same game
Laptop A = 6 min
Laptop B = 1 min

loading Window media player ( everyone sure have)
Laptop A = 2 min
Lapop B = 5 sec

2nd question, i found alot information abt perfect vs diskkeeper
but why no one compare norton utilties vs perfect or disk???

Because at this point, anything Norton is taboo and banned from my computer.

As for between Diskeeper vs Perfect Disk, I personally prefer Diskeeper. I don't have any data to prove that it's better one way or another though.

I rely on Norton System Works 2003. Althought, if I actually had money to burn - which I don't - I'd spend valuable heartbeats searching eBay to find brand-new shrink wrapped AV software (and compare / contrast it with what people are saying) .

I use DiskTrix v1.72 for HDD defrag; its obtuse - but it works - which is good when its free. Things that are free are much more valuable than things that carry a nominal cost if diving into the dumpster isn't against the grain.

You either figure out what the hell a piece of software is doing - and deal with it - or upgrade to somthing else if you can't...

I know for a fact there are ANTI-Norton, WinXP, DiskTrix, SpyBot, Bush fan-boi's on this board; you post it the way you see it (and wear the damned asbestos steel-seated pant-suit).

Antivirus --> ESET NOD32 --> worth the cash
Defrag --> Defraggler --> free (piriform.com)
Clean-up tool --> CCleaner --> free (piriform.com)
System defense --> Windows Defender --> free (microsoft.com)
