Opinion and Disk/data retrieval tool

What is your best disk retrieval tool? I got this "bad copy pro", but i'm starting 2 realize bad copy pro aint soo good
Its resource utilization is poor, it ends up endleslessy trying to retrieve missing data without the brains to skip on and leave a data break in the file, the worst part about it is when I use the task manager it says i'm using about 10mb of ram and barely registers any cpu utilization , meaning a dead loop.

I dont like it, if the file is has too dead many missing sections then skip, dont freeze my PC with zero utilisation and progress!! I cant even access certain SEPERATE hard drives , tisk

Long story short what do you use that is better so I can use it too?
