Need converter for html json

I did a noob thing. I saved my bookmarks before I reformatted my hard drive.I saves it as a json file. I tried to save it as a html file by using the file properties when i tried to import them. Now it wont open. its just a bunch of text when I try in firefox. How can i fix it? I've loked at converters none seen to support json.
