Partitioning tool

Can anyone suggest a partitioning tool that "works well" with Win7. I have used Partition Magic in the past, but that was a while ago...

I want to create a new partition for Linux on my laptop, "at the end" of the disk, and don't want to mess up the Win partitions while doing it.

Re: Partitioning tool

I have problems with EASUS whenever I try it on my PC. It crashes whenever I try to resize or move a partition.

Nonetheless, if it works for you, awesome

So, it doesn't work at all for you? What do you use then?

Edit: I just clicked the Apply button on the Easus and successfully created the partition.
I like to make a little risks like that.

Re: Partitioning tool

Paragon Partition Manager (through it's boot CD), it works really well.

Re: Partitioning tool

Actually, Win 7 has pretty good partition management built in.

Open up Windows Explorer, then right click on Computer, click on Manage, then click on Disk Management.

It does, and I've used it but EASUS does that and more..... perfectly. Never had a problem. It even copies disks without issue.

Best deal ever on Easus
dotTech Promo: Free EASEUS Partition Master Professional! | dotTech Promotions | dotTech
Not just the Home, but the Pro for free (linux bootdisk version, no winPE) - also available as a linkshare promotion from Easus, but the Dottech promo is zero hassle.
