Looking for a pro at Virtual Audio Cable (VOC)

Hello everyone!

I'm looking for someone who is knowledgeable about the following:

I want to know how to use Skype and Soundplant together. Soundplant is a software where you assign sounds to keys on the keyboard. So that for example, if I press the letter C, a car sound that I have chosen would play. So basically, I want to be able to talk on Skype, and use Soundplant in a way that the listener would also hear what I play on Soundplant.

I have read that it's possible to do that with Soundplant and virtual audio cable (VOC), even though Soundplant's software doesn't specifically allow us to select the audio source.

Btw, here's what they say in Soundplant's documentation:

----
Can I record or process Soundplant's output?

• Yes; though Soundplant does not have a built-in recording function, you can record its output fairly easily with the help of other software on both Windows and Mac:
• On Windows, you can record the output of Soundplant internally with any audio recording software by setting your input source to your sound card's own output, which is usually called something like the 'wave', 'loopback', 'stereo mix', or 'wave out' device. The exact name for the input source that refers to recording your soundcard's own output varies from system to system, but it should have an obvious name. Sometimes it is even called 'what you hear'. You can also search for programs that make this process easier; there are several Windows programs available for the purpose of recording other program's sound output. Even better, for more advanced users, you can use a program like Virtual Audio Cable to reroute Soundplant's audio into another program's input, such as for realtime effects processing of Soundplant's output (in programs like Max, Audiomulch, etc.), or also for direct recording of Soundplant's output.
------

So basically I'm looking for someone who knows how to do this, and who could help me with that. I'm also willing to PAY you if you want. I know it may take 20-30min of your time to do so, and it would be more than normal to compensate you for your time and knowledge.

So if anyone here KNOWS anyone who is able to help me with that, please let me know!!

Thank you VERY much for your help!

Warmest Regards,
JC

Re: Looking for a pro at Virtual Audio Cable (VOC)

Basically what you want to do after installing VAC is having a new recording device and a new playback device. Then what you want to do is to get Soundplant to output to that device instead of say, your speaker.

Next, you'll want to run the audio repeater program that you get with VAC and select your mic as input and the output being the VAC playback device.

Finally, go into skype and select the VAC recording device and whatever goes into the VAC output will be recorded and sent through skype.

I did a video awhile ago which may help. You can give it a look at YouTube - ‪Broadcasting with Mic & Game Sound using Virtual Audio Cable‬‏
