Both, but runs under XP or 2000.

This is great! I typed in diskeeper vs perfectdisk in google and this is what came up:
http://www.raxco.com/products/perfec...V6_vs_DKV8.pdf
Make sure u have a PDF reader installed.
Also, here is perfectdisk vs windows built-in defragger:
http://www.raxco.com/products/perfec...vs_builtin.pdf
They also have a Diskeeper Trade-in Program

I think I'll stick with perfectdisk

I use Diskeeper, but I have known Zardon from way back in his Rage3d days and if he says perfect disk then well maybe I'll give it a try.

You didn't read the PDF document?
I guess the most important thing that I get out of that comparison is the fact that you only have to use 1 pass for perfect defrag...all other defrag programs I've used, after you're "done" defragging you're not really done because if you click defrag again, it'll arrange the files once again...and again...
With perfectdisk, 1 pass is all it takes.
When I first started using perfectdisk, the GUI didn't look that impressive vs diskeeper or O&O defrag...but it's the performance that matters...
I can honestly say that diskeeper *looks* much better than perfectdisk...but that's about it...looks.
Perfectdisk is just simple, well-organized, and most importantly, does its job well.

I only have perfect disc 5- and after I defragged, it rearranged all the files like it should, but it still had fragmented files- almost the same amount as before the defrag. Maybe I'll try a later version- but still, it should have actually gotten rid of the fragments right??? Hmmm, gonna try Disckeeper now- Maybe I just have some perma-frag going on here My poor little 40 gig drive is almost full- 3 partitions, c, e, and a 1gig g, only for swapfile, but the C and e only have about 3 gigs between them free. Maybe that's why they aren't defragging the files all the way. I know windows needs 10% free space just to work- at least that's what it says.

Well, I never tried an older version than this 6.0 so idk how well they worked but I know for sure that 6.0 is perfect and I doubt I will switch to anything else until they can prove to me that it's better.
Another great thing about perfectdisk is that it only needs 5% free space to defrag...that's right, only 5% !

I bet that's my problemo- I'm close to that cuttoff point- but it gave me no warnings, so who knows.

Well 5% is much better than Diskeeper's 20% !
At least from what Raxco says on their website:
"Diskeeper will tell you 20% free space is needed..."
