Just another speed tweak

I wanna know if this tweak is any good in speeding IE? It's suppose to get more simultanious connection to a certain web page...

another questoin:
At home I have 2machines connected thru crosslinked cable. The secondary machine is Win2k SP4 acting as server(ADSL).And on the primary machine I have WinXP SP1 which has Internet Connectoin Sharing enabled. Now if I double click on the icon displaying the status of the network in SYSTEM TRAY all I can see is "SEND and RECEIVED PACKETS" but I would like to see bytes instead of packets. Is that possible?

not on a network connection, only on the adsl connection is where you can see how many bytes you have received/send
