Emule or Emule Plus?

So whats the best for P2P. Emule or Emule Plus, and does anyone know the differences?

No idea what the differences are but I use Emule + cos its funky!

Official emule always worked fine for me but a few days ago i installed emule+ just to try. Now when it has been running for a few hours, my whole system begin to slowdown, then my internet conection dies and when i try to restart windows i see two scary background progs that won't close, I'm not a noob with this kind of software and i really thinks that it has some evil spyware...

I have been using Emule Plus too just of late with no problems.

Perhaps run spyblaster and search and destroy with adaware after you install Emule +. That way any evil spyware can be detected, also dont forget to download the Emule IPfilter and protowall.

I doubt that Emule+ has caused the problem with net speed and loss of connectivity, however it may be conflicting with a port, you never know - you can change your emule port in the options tab though. Also make sure that you downloaded the program (emule) from here:

Thats possible, I would follow Funky Monkey's advice first but also check that your max connections aren't swamping you...

Mute software and info

Mute will help block the RIAA by using an encrypted ID to mask your IP.

hi all,
LSD mod is the best eMule mod imho , tested most of the mods+official , also moded a bit my own LSD based mod just to add my personal liking.
LSD mod isnt supported in official emule forum anymore (LSD mod never threated farly inthere) but definitly not a leecher mod in any way.

I'd say go with DC++. Emule is a complete hog on the CPU and ram. DC++ is much much less and truthfully, I can find anything I want on DC++.
