Re: Inserting the XP cd key into setup
The process is fairly simple. First rip an ISO image of the cd to the hard drive using a program like DDump or some other program that you can use to save an ISO image. Maybe Winimage I dont know if it wil or not. Anyway after it is on the hard drive then make a file in notepad called "winnt.sif" (Without the quotes) and put this into the file starting at the top quote`s and finishing at the bottom one`s. Note the quotes are not to be included in the file. They are just markers I put in.
" " [UserData] ProductKey=xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx [Data] MSDosInitiated=0 UnattendedInstall=Yes " " And substitute the x`s for your cd key of course. Then save the file as "winnt.sif" Then open the ISO using Winiso and just insert the file into the I386 folder with Winiso. Then save the ISO then open nero and goto the file menu and select burn image make sure you are burning as "disc at once/96" And thats it. Hope this helps. AREA_51 |

That address will be invalid soon. When it is invalid just use www.bink.nu Just so anyone looking in here months from now know. AREA_51

Yes it was bink.nu then it went to windowsxp.nu but the windowsxp.nu domain name is going to microsoft so it has to go back to bink.nu. Have a look on the windowsxp.nu site and you will see what I mean. Bink wil only own the domain name until the 19th of dec at the latest. AREA_51
