Two good guides, the Nero one works 'cos I used it

http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?...cle.cfm&id=160 Nero

http://www.tacktech.com/display.cfm?...cle.cfm&id=157 Easy CD

You just install from this disk and you get the updates pre-installed.

I have no problems either mate. I tryed SP1 with a craped filled system (no format) and a clean rig. No problems with Norton products either (Anti-virus 2K2, Utilities 2K2 and Ghost Enterprise 7.0).

So far have 80 megs of the 133 meg network distribution SP1 update downloaded...only 6 more hours! Then I can burn an SP1 slipstream CD and tuck my XP cd safely away!

Cool.

Hmm...following the directions exactly for using nero as my burning program, it works fine, but at the boot it says "can't find ntldr" and restarts my PC....but ntldr is exactly where it should be and is not corrupt!

I had to install win98 (wanted to dual boot...which worked, and is AWESOME) anyway so I just installed XP from inside of win98se...which surprisingly worked well!

Now I can dual boot and have SP1 installed from the get go! yay!

I was able to slipstreat Office XP & sp2 ( Works)

I haven't tried the Win 2000 & Sp3 yet.
