Alcohol 120%...

When I go to copy, which should I write with? Their are so many choices, RAW, RAW DAO,SAO. What the hell do all those mean lol. Which one gets past copy protection the best usually??

Ummm, are you trying to do a general data/backup CD, an ISO CD, a bootable CD... or what?

Use ClonyXXL to see what protection the CD uses and select the appropriate one in Alcohol 120. But remember some cds just cannot be copied depending on protection and your cd/dvd drive.

And last time I checked, there's a few that Alcohol 120% can't copy, regardless of your drive.

Best method to use is RAW DAO nothing beats that mode for true 1/1 backup.

But remember RAW DAO isn't the solution for every game, so i would still go and check if something special has to be done, which is often the case with the latest copyprotections like safedisk, starforce, securom and so on.
