Can someone please tell me of a good reg cleaner for Windows Xp SP2. I am willing to pay for the software if its worth while

regseeker 1.35 is free and also does some cool tweeks and there is no installer,it runs from wherever you place it.i like that feature cause there is no chance to leave anything else behind if you uninstall the cleaner.

Bleh, I dunno which one to use, I'm using crap cleaner right now, seems alright, but I'm sure there's something better, which one should I use? Or should I use more then one Btw, thanks for the replys to this month old thread, lol.

I'm using RegCleaner, it was linked by someone above. Works great, there's an option in the toolbar at the top to do a registry scan for corrupted/dead entries. In addition you can browse entries by the reported app name or publisher. It's handy for getting rid of some extra crap a program left behind. You can also edit your startup list, but msconfig already does that.

I've been using jv powertools since before it was all one peice of software and was 2-3 free applications...it's amazing stuff
